After having patented and engineered our products, we decided to develop our own in-house equipment and tools. The challenge was to satisfy not only our needs of internal maintenance but also the pressing demand for customized products for the Automotive sector.

To be able to respond to new requests in an increasingly more attentive and advanced way, we first created a new company branch, equipped with work centres as well as EDM and WEDM processes. At the same time, it was necessary to invest in the creation of a Technical Office capable of working side by side with the customer throughout the production process: from the development of the complete component to the final protector, in synergy with the customer’s own R&D department and Technical Office.

In fact, we are often presented with the need for a product that is not part of the standard DLM range. In these cases it is therefore essential to start with an idea and a design studied ad hoc for that specific protector. After discussing the 2D project, we move on to creating a 3D sample, then completing the process by producing a mould for mass production.
